Writing is more thinking than well, writing!

When I started my writing journey seven months ago, I was scared. Every profile I checked out on LinkedIn, Medium, Substack, and more had the word “writer" on it.

Was I going to be another writer?

Was I going to barely survive with the money I made through writing?

I was extremely nervous and priced a little less than what I normally would If I started with any other skill like social media management or website design.

I got a few clients initially and I started writing for them. From Instagram reel scripts to YouTube videos to LinkedIn posts. They liked my work and I was appreciated for my writing skills. They kept saying that they had been looking for writers for so long.

But of course, “Imposter Syndrome”. I kept thinking they were just nice to me because when you start (in my case restart) a career, you put in more effort. I thought it was just that — my initial effort at understanding writing was paying off.

But this kept happening for months and then I realized something. But before I speak about that let me tell you a little bit more about my story.
